How to activate notifications?
The process of activating notifications is as simple as opening the Polar Flow application on the cell phone, and synchronize the Polar M400, from the left "back" button. Once the synchronization process is complete, the next step is to select the "activate" option in the notification settings. The great advantage is that the user will have the power to choose the notifications you want to receive on the heart rate monitor, displaying each notification on the screen of the Polar M400.

Other new features brought by this new software update (1.7.1) of the Polar M400 is that this training gadget can also be used as an activity tracking monitor, since it shows the distance traveled and calories burned during physical activity.
More useful new features include turning off the backlight when it is used for illumination, and the interval timer for runners who like to do phased workouts. An acoustic signal warns that the phase will end in a few seconds.
