You probably have training data from some sports services that you would like to move to Suunto Movescount and you are wondering how is it possible to do it... if it is possible at all? Well, from Suunto we present three services from other companies with which you can carry out this "transfer" of data. Take note!
FitnessSyncer
When we refer to FitnessSyncer we refer to a service that allows you to synchronize your health and fitness data with, that's nothing, more than 40 apps and wearable devices. In other words, you have the possibility to directly transfer your health and fitness data from other apps, trackers and devices to Suunto Movescount.
To do this you need to create an account on fitnessyncer.com, add a data source on the account page and set Suunto Movescount as the destination in the account settings. Simple, isn't it?
RunGap
In this case, with RunGap we are talking about a training data manager for iOS, which collects your complete training history from the most demanded services, including Suunto Movescount, Garmin Connect, Endomondo, Strava, RunKeeper, Runtastic, Polar, Adidas, Magellan, Nike ... both on your iPhone and iPad so you have immediate access at all times to the data.
One of the main advantages of RunGap is that you can also synchronize all this data with Suunto Movescount.
MX Activity Mover
Finally, with MX Activity Mover you have the option of transferring training logs from Garmin Connect or Polar Personaltrainer directly to Suunto Movescount, either as single activities directly by IDGarmin and Polar) or by uploading filesGarmin). Similarly, if you get the full version of MX Activity Mover you can also upload more than one activity at a time.
Similarly, an additional feature of MX Activity Mover allows you to include a link to the original activity in Garmin Connect or Polar Personaltrainer in the description campo of the transferred Move.
Movescount and Strava
Of course, you might want to do a "reverse", or shared, path and sync Movescount with Strava so that your activities and workouts are on both platforms automatically. Is it possible, you might ask. If you have a Suunto watch, of course!
To do this, you just have to follow a few simple steps. To start with, you have to go to Movescount.com and log in with your personal account, which in case you have a Suunto watch you will already have set up.
If you look at the top right you will see that there is your profile picture and if you stand on it a menu of options is displayed, in which we will have to select the heading that says "Other sport services":
Once there you can see the options to connect Strava, as well as other services such as Sports Tracker or Trainings Peaks. In this case, we must press the red button "Connect with Strava", after which, automatically, a new window will be displayed and we will be asked to grant permission for Movescount access to Strava, which is essential to have the option to share activities. We will then click on "Authorize".
Three Suunto heart rate monitors for your workouts
Once these steps are completed, and in the Movescount settings, we will have several options to choose what we want to send to Strava. So, we choose what activities we want to synchronize, we give permissions-strava-movescount-suunto.... and we're done! Thus, by connecting the Suunto watch with Movescount either through the cable, or via the mobile app, after a few minutes it will also appear in Strava.
