Chaco sandals are for many a great unknown but for those who are looking for quality they will no longer be. It is a North American brand of sandal manufacturing that belongs to the Wolverine group. They are pioneers in creating premium footwear and accessories for lovers of libre activities. Their main virtue is the use of durable materials, with functional and practical designs to create totally versatile products.

The sandals feature the LOVSEAT ? platform at the base of the foot that aligns and maintains balance throughout the body, and Vibram sole, a non-slip surface perfectly suited for walking on any type of terrain. All Chaco sandals also feature what the company describes as a BioCentric? footbed, approved by the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA).

Concepts such as durability, a moveable strap circuit and the ability to change the sole were key in their early days and continue to be mainstays today.

At Chaco, they do not believe in complicated footwear and exaggerated advertising. Instead, they believe in inspiring the commitment of their loyal "Chaconians", men and women from all over the world, to wear their products and enjoy them for miles.

The company is convinced that travel and libre adventure activities enrich our lives. Chaco's main objective, and now ours as well, is to contribute to this enrichment.

Chaco joins brands such as Lizard that seek to create top quality footwear in the under-exploited segment of the trekking sandal.

The history of Chaco

The Chaco brand was founded in 1989 by Mark Paigen, a guide on the Gunnison River in Colorado, who was dissatisfied with the water shoes available at the time and decided to create, based on his knowledge of footwear and materials, a lightweight, durable and comfortable sandal. And that's when the Chaco universe was born.
