The Finnish heart rate monitor company Suunto has just launched a new edition of the Ambit2 S, this time in white. In addition to the color, the novelty of this GPS watch lies in its strap, which is made of soft and elastic silicone for greater comfort and a better fit for sportswomen.

The Ambit2 S GPS watch is the ideal companion for sports activities, whether cycling, running, swimming or participating in other libre sports. It provides accurate monitoring of pace, distance and heart rate.
To coincide with this launch, Suunto asked Ambit users for ideas for apps they would like to use. We received lots and lots of suggestions, both serious and fun, and selected two of them for the Suunto team to implement. They will be available for download in the exclusive Suunto App zone. They are the following:
- Workout & Refuel App: Inspired by Aleksandra Miko?ajczak and Miriam Plana, this app helps you recharge your body's batteries properly after exercise by showing you how many grams of fat, protein and carbohydrates to take in. The app is based on energy consumption.
- Workout Celebration App: Inspired by Nina Sibley. The goal of this app is to reward you after a good workout. During your workout, the app alerts you when you've worked hard enough so you can celebrate in style!
The Suunto Appzone allows users to customize their watches by choosing from miles downloadable apps. Among other examples, you can find apps that provide estimated time of arrival while running a 10K or a marathon or apps that count the lengths during swimming, while others help you with a comprehensive training analysis.
