New Balance has presented a limited edition of its 890 shoe which has been named 890v4 New York City with motifs inspired by the American city marathon.
The idea is a "marketing coup" and a great motivation for all those runners who have run or intend to run the mythical race that runs through the five famous New York boroughs (Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx and Staten Island).
For the occasion, the Boston-based brand will use the slogan "Powered by NYC" to promote its shoe and encourage all runners to run through the historic city.
What does the design look like?
The New Balance 890v4 NYC is designed with an attractive design with bright colors and includes a panoramic view of Manhattan with the Brooklyn Bridge. They have also simulated the look of asphalt in the cushioning part of the heel.
According to its creators, this Limited Edition has the added bonus of offering fans of the award-winning 890 series the opportunity to wear version 4. Among the enhancements are improved cushioning, fit and boost properties.

The 890v4 NYC will be available at the New Balance Experience Store in Barcelona, the New Balance Store in Madrid, as well as a selection of running specialty stores throughout Spain and the New Balance booth at the ING NYC Marathon Health & Fitness Expo located at the Jacob Javits Center.
