Zonyk Pro a pair of glasses with which you can face any light situation.

When it comes to buying your sports glasses... Are you one of those who believe that they are only aesthetic and a mere sports accessory, or on the contrary that they are an important element for the health of your eyes?

Especially if in addition to running your thing is pedaling and you are clear that your eyesight is not to be trifled with, and that your safety depends largely on your vision and ability to react, you have to try the new Zonyk Pro glasses from adidas Sport eyewear. Their photochromic Vario lenses allow you to run and ride at night, in the rain and on unstable days when the clouds suddenly give way to the sun. If you have to go through tunnels or face areas of light and shadow and you don't want to give up an ounce of vision without having to change lenses, these are the glasses for you!

We have seen Nairo Quintana and Alejandro Valverde racing with them this spring, in fact their design is the result of teamwork with the pros of the MoviStar road team. These new Zonyk Pro are based on an arched design with a wide-angle lens that widens the campo of vision, improving lower vision and especially peripheral vision. It is a large goggle, although they are available in two sizes have a sweat blocker that is removable.

A single lens with which to do sports in changing weather, from pedaling at night to go through tunnels and shady areas, without losing an iota of vision.

Which is what I liked most about this model:

  • The VARiO tuned lens is photosensitive and quickly changes from clear to a dark tint of light protection between 0 and 3, fully protecting from UVA and UVB rays.
  • The lens adapts to light conditions providing clarity by combining LST technology that intensifies contrasts and smoothes changes between light and shadow zones, with Vario technology that reduces eye fatigue and improves the perception of moving objects.
  • Both temples have a reflective detail that ensures the visibility of the athlete during night workouts. The Tri Fit system with three positions of the temple allows to compensate the angle of the light rays depending on the position of the sun or according to the position that you wear on the bike.
  • The nose bridge has two positions that allow you to wear them closer or further away from the face, allowing good adaptability to all types of faces.
  • Prescription lenses can be mounted.
  • Panoramic shape that protects very well from wind, dust, pollen and water.
  • It has an anti-fog treatment.

That I did not like so much:

  • It has a foam support on the upper and inner part that is in contact with the skin of the forehead that retains sweat and is removable. In conditions of maximum sweating is insufficient and prevents the good ventilation that has the frame, in my case I removed it and the ventilation of the goggle improves, delaying the fogging of the lens.
  • High pvp from 159 e.

In short:

In spring light conditions change quickly, you go from sun to rain in a matter of minutes, or pedaling in the mountains it is common that you find light areas interspersed with shady areas or you have to go through a tunnel; light conditions are sometimes unpredictable.

Ideal for those of us with sensitive eyes or allergies, for night activities, especially cycling or running with a front, at dusk, on cloudy days or in the rain.

With the new Vario lens in the reflective Zonyk Pro frame, both night vision and sports in low light conditions is safer.

When it comes to buying your sports eyewear, it's up to you to decide whether it will remain an unimportant sports accessory or an important element of your eye health.
