Those of you who have been following me these months will have noticed that among all crossfit exercises there is one that is my favorite....el burpee!!!! Yes, yes I know.... I know it may sound like a masochism but I don't know what it is about this exercise that I love to do it!!! I find it very active and it's something I enjoy.
Every time I go to a city on vacation, weekend or somewhere special I like to record my #lastlineburpees video dedicated to my friend and trainer, Jorge. It's uya a classic that even my friends remind me that I have to record it when we go outside hehehehehehe!

I'm also lucky to like this exercise so much because it has so many benefits, since it works 100% of the muscles of our body, activating it at the metabolic level, which makes the fat burning is greater. Not only that, but doing burpees helps prevent cardiovascular disease and osteoporosis, reduces cholesterol levels (LDL) and improves respiratory capacity.
What do you like the most about this exercise? ;-) As you can see the benefits of this exercise are many, but only if we pay special attention to the technique when performing it. It is an exercise that tires a lot and that makes you can get injured if you don't take care of the way you do it.
There are different levels of difficulty when performing it, but let's start with the basic one. To do it correctly it is important to take into account 5 steps:
"This is an exercise that I like to include on numerous occasions in my box WODs since it is one of the most functional exercises out there. You develop multiple capabilities such as power, strength, endurance and coordination. However, it is very important to take care of the technique when performing it, keeping the spine as neutral as possible and not supporting the knees in each flexion" explains Jorge Chiches, from the Crossfit Last Line box.
That's why to show you how to perform a perfect burpee I wanted to record Jorge doing them correctly, because if he recorded me doing them I didn't want to be responsible for all your injuries ;-)
If you dare to do it daily between 5 and 10 minutes, you will obtain excellent results.
Cheer up and propose to your friend a #burpeereto, you will have a great time and your body will thank you!
