Adidas' business strategy to try to position itself ahead of its competition (i.e. Nike) in the highly competitive segment of the fastest running shoes is becoming very clear, to seek victories in World Championships, major marathons and world records. In 2022 there were a total of eight World Championship victories, half of the major marathons and two new world records. And all this while wearing its fastest shoes range, the ADIZERO range.

New ADIZERO 2023 range

Adidas is focusing in 2023 on two very different profiles of runners. The faster runners and those who run for fun (the launch of the new Adidas UltraBoost Light is a clear example). And now it's the turn of the Adidas Flyer. The new models are launched in new colorways available. A new colorway that includes Solar Red and Coral Fusion.

ADIZERO incorporates innovative adidas technologies in its LIGHTSTRIKE PRO cushioning foams, carbon plates and upper. But also in its outsole with its alliance with Continental to manufacture a rubber compound that is one of the best on the market in terms of grip.

The ideal adidas running shoe for 5K and 10K competitions. The Adidas TakumiI Sen 9 is perfect for runners of light weight, medium weight with good running technique who are looking for their best performance in short distance races on asphalt (5 or 10 km).

Adidas Adizero Adios 7

The Adidas Adizero Adios 7 are the lowest profile flying running shoes from the German brand. They have a very light cushioning and the Torsion system that prints energy in each step. Designed for competitions up to 21 km and for runners with a light build and good running technique.

Adidas Adizero Prime X Strung

This is the first running shoe in the adidas ADIZERO saga with an upper that incorporates STRUNG fabric. A revolutionary concept that allows the upper to be made from individual strands of rope woven diagonally across the midsole to provide an individualized fit to each runner. The Adidas Adizero Prime X Strung also incorporates a midsole with ENERGYRODS carbon shafts and LIGHSTRIKE PRO cushioning, the fastest and most reactive of the brand.

Competition-oriented training Shoes

Adidas has in its Adizero range a series of models oriented to training for competition. These shoes incorporate LIGHSTRIKE PRO and LIGHSTRIKE EVA technologies in the midsole.

Adidas Adizero SL

The Adidas ADIZERO SL is a fast but non-carbon plate shoe at an affordable price. It represents the democratization of running for those who aspire to improve their pace and performance but don't want to or can't afford to spend too much money on their shoes.

Adidas Adizero Boston 11

Probably the shoe with carbon plate that has worked best for the German brand. A versatile shoe for everyday training but incorporating its video fiber shafts. The adidas Boston 11 has been designed to be used both in running and in quality sessions such as series or changes of pace. It incorporates a midsole with ENERGYRODS fiberglass shafts that combine racing technology with the design of a training shoe.

Adidas has launched new colorways that you can already see on their official website.
