Haría Titán 2024: Race Guide

The Haría Titán 2024 already has an official date confirmed by the race organization. The new edition of this popular Lanzarote race will be held on November 16, 2024 and the registration period is already open. The main race, the 42.5k distance, will start on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 7:00 a.m. from the Plaza de Haría, on the island of Lanzarote.

The route of this race, the 42.5K modality, will be 42.5 kilometers within a circuit that will maintain a total positive difference in altitude of 2,181 meters and a maximum finishing time of 8 hours. This edition will be open to runners over 18 years of age, regardless of gender, nationality or condition (federated or not). In turn, it is an event with up to 4 different races, which we present below:

  • HARÍA TITÁN 42,5K - Saturday, November 16 at 07:00 starting time and 15:00 closing time.
  • HARÍA TITÁN 22,5K - Saturday, November 16 at 08:00 start time and 12:30 closing time.
  • HARÍA TITÁN JOVEN 14K,5 - Saturday, November 16th at 09:00 start time and at 12:30 closing time.

Categories

Registrations for the Haría Titán 2024 are currently open. From Sunday, May 5, 2024 until Thursday, October 31, 2024 at 23:59 hours or, failing that, until the quota of these registrations is exhausted (1,000 bibs in total), any runner who wishes to participate in the race must do so by registering online through the official website of the organization destined for the race.

On the other hand, the participation categories stipulated by the organization, both for women and men, of this edition of the Haría Titán 2024 will be the following:

  • Absolute General Category
  • Youth Category (17 and 18 years old) - Only for HARRÍA TITÁN JOVEN 14.5K
  • Junior Category (19 and 20 years old) - Only for HARRÍA TITÁN JOVEN 14,5K
  • Category Master 30
  • Category Master 40
  • Category Master 50
  • Category Master 60

Collection of bibs

The delivery of the bibs will take place in the plain annexed to the square, urban center, located next to the Plaza de Haría, on the days and times indicated below by the organization of the event:

  • Thursday 14 November 2024 from 18:30 to 21:00 hours.
  • Friday 15 November 2024 from 18:30 to 21:00 hours.

In order to collect the material, participants must show the Organization's staff their National Identity Card passport, or public document that proves the identity and age of the participant.

This material may also be picked up by another person, as long as he/she provides a duly completed and signed authorization of the runner, along with a copy of the specified documentation that accredits the data of the person represented.

Registrations for the new edition of the Haría Titan 2024 are currently open. To participate in it, any runner over 18 years of age who wishes to do so must register through the official website enabled for this purpose by the organization from Sunday, May 5, 2024 until Thursday, October 31, 2024 at 23:59 hours or, failing that, before the quota of such registrations is reached:

  • Haría Titán 42,5KM: 200 places.
  • Haría Titán 22,5KM: 350 Places
  • Haría Titán JOVEN 14,5KM: 450 Places

Price

The registration fee for the new edition of the Haría Titán 2024 will not vary its price, something that is not usual in this kind of races, depending on the proximity to the race, being the following values set by the organization of the event for each distance:

Prices per distance/modality:

  • HARÍATITAN 42,5K - 40,00€.
  • HARÍA TITAN 22,5K - 30,00€.
  • HARÍA TITAN YOUNG 14,5K - 20,00€.

The route of the queen race of this new edition of the Haría Titán 2024 consists of 42.5 kilometers of distance with a total positive difference in altitude of 2,181 meters. A circuit whose departure from the Plaza de Haría, in Lanzarote will take place on November 16, 2024 at 7:00 am, at which time runners will have up to 8 hours to complete the course.

This 42.5K race will be made up of 85% of trails, a 9% track and only 1% of asphalt, in which the maximum slope will range between 56% and 48%. A test that will be just another of the up to 3 modalities that can be enjoyed in the event, among which are the distances of 22,5 and 14,5 kilometers.
