The 16th edition of the Ibiza Trail Marathon Festival will be held on October 26, 2024 in Sant Antoni de Portmany, on the island of Ibiza. This event has established itself as one of the most important trail running events in the Balearic Islands, and this year it promises to be even more exciting with a variety of distances adapted to runners of all levels.
The festival offers a spectacular setting, with courses that allow participants to explore the island's most breathtaking scenery. From the shortest distance of 11 kilometers to the full 48-kilometer challenge, runners will be able to traverse much of the Ibizan terrain, which includes technical trails and breathtaking panoramic views.

During the 25th, 26th and 27th of October, in parallel with the Ibiza Trail Marathon Festival, the Gastromarathon will be held. Participating restaurants will offer special menus and discounts to those who present their registration bracelet in the premises. This is an ideal opportunity to explore the local cuisine and enjoy a unique culinary experience on the island while preparing for the event or recovering after the race.

All participants in the Half and Marathon races must cross the finish line before 3:00 pm. Runners who do not arrive on time will be disqualified and the safety precautions will be dismantled. The cut-off times for the Marathon are:
For the Half Marathon, the intermediate cut-off will be at km 175 at 12:00 h (refreshments at Cap Nonó). Runners who do not pass through the cut-off points on time will be disqualified.
The material will be checked at the access to the starting boxes, starting half an hour before the start of each race. There may also be controls at points along the route.

It is necessary that all runners register within the established deadlines to ensure their participation. The organization reserves the right to modify the details of the rules at any time, notifying participants of the changes.
This course is ideal for those who are just starting out in trail running or are looking for a less demanding race. The circuit takes place in the vicinity of the urban center, offering a positive elevation gain of 300 meters. Runners will enjoy a picturesque landscape with unparalleled views of the coast of Sant Antoni de Portmany. The first part of the route has a moderate slope, while the second part is softer, allowing you to enjoy coastal views.
The Medium race offers an intermediate challenge, starting at the promenade and ascending through Sa Talaia de Sant Antoni. Runners will face stretches of medium-high elevation gain and enjoy a varied landscape that includes technical trails and panoramic views. At kilometer 10.5 is the first refreshment station, with a second stop at kilometer 15. From there, runners will return to the finish line, passing through some of the most beautiful coves on the island, with a final refreshment station at around kilometer 21.
The main event of the festival is a true test of endurance and skill. It starts following the same route as the Medium, but deviates towards Santa Inés to explore additional trails. With a positive elevation gain of over 1600 meters, runners will face technical and challenging sections. Along the route, they will encounter beautiful landscapes, including the Pla, where they will be able to recover their energy before facing another technical ascent to the area of's Broll. The return includes a runnable sector, but runners will have to manage their strength to face the final slope before reaching the finish line in Sant Antoni.
