One of the latest novelties from Mizuno, are the Mizuno Wave Sky 7, one of the most outstanding daily training running shoe of the brand and that has been recently presented incorporating great improvements to be even softer, more comfortable and stable.
This latest version is presented completely renewed with respect to the Mizuno Wave Sky 6, wanting to enhance the feeling of maximum softness and comfort during our workouts with the shoe. The main new features of this new version are:
New upper
The upper of the shoe has been renovated considerably. It features a stretch knitted fabric, with a new design, modernized and updated to modern times with a three-dimensional logo and a gusset tongue, which does not move and adapts perfectly to the foot to provide maximum comfort to the runner.
The upper is made with Smooth Stretch Woven material, so we will have a soft fit that adapts to the movements of the foot. In addition, to maximize such an important aspect as breathability, wider breathable holes have been added in the instep area.
Midsole
In the new version of the shoe, the profiles have been increased to provide more comfort. The Mizuno Wave Sky 7 has 41mm profiles in the heel area and 33mm in the forefoot, maintaining the 8mm drop of the previous versions.
The great novelty in the midsole is that it is composed of two waves: the upper ensures a smooth and fluid transition, while the lower one provides the maximum level of stability. Between these two layers you can see shapes that look like bubbles. This is the 3D geometry, which allows for greater midsole deformation, resulting in a more comfortable and smoother feel when running.
