Nike has done it again and it seems that this time the changes are more evident. With the launch of the new Pegasus 41, the swoosh brand seeks to win back the trust of the most popular runner. And it does so by combining design changes, advanced technology and a focus on sustainability.

This running shoe is the best-selling running shoe in the history of the running universe, and we are talking about a model that is intended for popular runners of all levels. It is a good choice for both daily training and competitions, from a 5K to a half marathon. And for runners weighing up to 85 kilos.

We also think it is a very good option for competitions.

ReactX cushioning: energy and sustainability in each stride

One of the main novelties of these Nike Pegasus 41 is that they introduce ReactX foam in their midsole, which provides 13% more energy return compared to their predecessor. This improvement seeks to maximize running efficiency, but also contribute to the reduction of the carbon footprint, reducing emissions by 43% thanks to a more efficient manufacturing process and the use of recycled materials.

"The combination of ReactX foam and Air Zoom units in the forefoot and heel enhance the running experience. They look like faster shoes, but at their core they are a more comfortable and reliable shoes than the previous model," says Gorka Cabañas, product manager at RUNNEA. "But it's true that every stride will feel more cushioned but at the same time more energetic".

Advanced design for a perfect fit in the new Nike Pegasus 41.

The upper of the Pegasus 41 has been redesigned with a lighter and more breathable Engineered Mesh, improving ventilation and reducing the overall weight of the shoe. This advanced material, along with a cushioned insole, tongue and ankle area, will ensure a comfortable and secure fit, adapting to a wide variety of foot shapes and running styles.

Amaia Cabezudo, RUNNEA's sports equipment expert, points out that "the new upper design improves breathability and offers a snugger, more comfortable fit. This, combined with the sustainable approach, makes the Pegasus 41 an outstanding choice for runners who value both performance and environmental friendliness."

Commitment to sustainability

Sustainability is a priority in the revamped Pegasus 41. Nike has incorporated at least 20% recycled materials in their construction, reaffirming its commitment to reducing environmental impact. This approach is part of a broader strategy to decrease carbon emissions and promote more responsible manufacturing practices.

Nike Pegasus Plus: a step forward in cushioning

In addition to Pegasus 41, Nike will introduce the all-new Pegasus Plus, a version that promises even more generous cushioning. Although full details have yet to be revealed, all signs point to expectations for this new model to include an upgraded version of ZoomX foam and integrated Zoom Air pods, offering a softer and more cushioned running experience.

"The Turbo-inspired design and advanced Pegasus Plus cushioning technology could be a real game changer for runners looking for the best in comfort and performance," says Lionel Nattes, RUNNEA's international development director.

Who the Nike Pegasus 41 is for

The Nike Pegasus 41 is aimed at a wide range of runners. They are ideal for those looking for a versatile shoe that can handle daily workouts and competitions, from short distances to half marathons.

Their balanced design makes them perfect for neutral runners who need a good level of cushioning and responsiveness.

An affordable price for all runners

With a launch price of 140€ in Europe, the Nike Pegasus 41 is an affordable option in the versatile running shoes market. We think it's a good pricing strategy that allows Nike to offer cutting-edge technology at a cost that is accessible.
