For the "clueless", we must begin by explaining that the competition, developed under the umbrella of the Canarian Triathlon Federation, offers three modes of participation: Supersprint, Olympic and Middle Distance. In addition, the Olympic modality includes a team relay category, allowing a more inclusive and diverse participation. Each of these modalities, has a circuit in which a first swimming segment, a second cycling segment, and a third and final running segment are combined, with different distances in each one:
- SUPERSPRINT ? 0.4 kilometers swimming, 11 kilometers cycling and 25 kilometers running.
- OLYMPIC ? 15 kilometers swimming, 40 kilometers cycling and 10 kilometers running.
- MEDIUM DISTANCE ? 19 kilometers swimming, 90 kilometers cycling and 20 kilometers running.
Lanzarote, known for its unique volcanic landscapes, stunning beaches and favorable climate, provides an ideal environment for a sporting event of this magnitude. Thus, runners who register through the official website of the event will be able to enjoy a test of unique beauty in one of the most beautiful places of the Canary Islands orography, which will lead them to be fascinated and leave their skin in the same way in a route as beautiful as hard.
