Today we lived the second day of the Top4running x Adidas Paris Challenge activation. Like yesterday, we were delighted to continue discovering the magic of running in one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Today's easy run, also of 5 kilometers, allowed us to enjoy another route, in a cool and perfect morning for running. We tell you all about it on our social networks, and of course, here on RUNNEA.

The second Challenge run

This week's challenge consists of completing 20 kilometers. To do this, we will do 4 runs : 3 reconnaissance runs, and a race. So today we did a new route in the city of light.

Our starting point was the Top4running store, strategically located in the center, near the Seine river. At 8:00 AM, we met Pau Capdevila, who welcomed us with a short talk and a warm up. After yesterday's jog, we started to see some familiar faces. Then, we divided into different groups to respect everyone's pace. I had the joy of leading the 6 min/km group.

We started our run along the Seine River, but instead of going towards the Louvre like yesterday, we turned left, towards the Ile Saint-Louis. As we went along, we passed several monuments that added a magical touch to our easy run. The Notre Dame cathedral, whose reconstruction work is progressing little by little, was one of the most exciting points of the tour.

We left the Île de la Cité behind us and continued with the Île Saint-Louis on our right, whose bridge we crossed to go to the Rive Gauche. There we continue running in the opposite direction, towards the Pont Neuf (new bridge) which is, curiously, the oldest bridge in the city. Once we crossed it and were back on the north bank, we headed back to the Top4Running store, where the tour ended.

The Adidas Adizero SL 2: a dynamic and light model for mixed workouts

For this jog, I chose the Adidas Adizero SL 2 shoes, a model designed to offer a combination of lightness, comfort and performance. This is the fast line of Adidas, but in its most comfortable version, perfect for mixed workouts. From the first moment I put them on, I felt their perfect fit and incredible lightness. These shoes are ideal for runners looking for a shoe that allows them to maintain a good pace and tighten up when necessary, without compromising comfort.

The Lightstrike technology in the Adizero SL 2 provides reactive cushioning that effectively absorbs the impact of each footstrike, reducing stress on the joints. This is especially beneficial on an easy run, where the meta is to maintain a steady pace and enjoy the run without worrying about fatigue or discomfort. The Adiwear rubber outsole offers excellent traction, which allowed us to run with confidence on a variety of surfaces, from asphalt to cobblestone paths along the Seine.

It doesn't end here: the activities organized by Top4Running

After completing our 5 km easy run, a delicious breakfast awaited us at the Top4running tent: bananas, juices and, of course, croissants. Among the different runners, we took the opportunity to chat about the route, our goals as runners and shoes.

In addition to breakfast, the store had organized two fun and creative activities. One, which proved to be very popular, was the creation of custom bracelets, which was a great way to relax after the race! With a variety of colorful beads and threads, each participant was able to design a bracelet that represented their personality and passion for running. Worn on our wrists, we took home a nice souvenir of the day.

Another highlight was customizing tie dye socks. You've probably done this activity at a camp before... We had fun designing our own unique socks. We came away with a pair of Adidas running socks, but most of all, authentic, colorful works of art.

adidas Panel Talk: a chance to talk to a brand expert

Let's take a little trip back in time for me to tell you about yesterday. At the end of the day, at the Top4Running store, we had the opportunity to chat face to face, with an adidas expert.

We started talking about adidas and its origins. It's true that it's hard to imagine a world in which adidas is not one of the biggest names in the running industry and sport in general. But I asked Simon, the brand expert, to tell us a bit of the story of Adi Dassler, whose name derived from what we know today as adidas.

We also delved into the races that the three-stripes brand sponsors, of which there are two World Majors: Berlin and Boston. It was impossible not to mention the famous race that adidas organizes in its home town, Herzogenaurach, in Germany: the Road to Records, and it must be said that adidas athletes have accumulated many records!

We also mentioned several models from the vast adidas cat, from running shoes for asphalt to track and field models. We spent some time focusing on what is adidas ' star today: the Adios Pro Evo 1.

After an exciting talk, we did a quiz in which the winner won the new adidas Ultraboost 22

Let's see what's in store for tomorrow

The second day of the Top4running x Adidas Paris Challenge activation was a great success. Several runners from yesterday joined in again. And new faces showed up. If you're in Paris and haven't signed up yet, don't worry, there's still time to join the Top4running x Adidas Paris Challenge.

Today, the Adidas Adizero SL 2 proved to be a good choice for workouts in which we do a bit of everything: jogging, accelerating, recovering, etc. All this with a perfect combination of lightness, cushioning and traction.

After the race, activities at the Top4running store allowed us to continue sharing the day with the participants. Creating bracelets and customizing tie dye socks allowed us to take home special memories of today.

We can't wait to see what the rest of the Top4running x Adidas Paris Challenge activation has in store. To follow this adventure more closely, feel free to check out our social media.
