Nike Pegasus Trail 5: Many improvements to get you started in trail running with good footing
The new Nike Pegasus Trail 5 are a true revolution in the world of trail running. With a design that adapts to any surface, these shoes promise a smooth transition and improved durability, ideal for runners looking for versatility and performance in their runs.
One of the most prominent features of the Pegasus Trail 5 is its updated midsole, with Nike ReactX, a material that offers high-level performance and reduces environmental impact. This new component provides increased energy return, while maintaining the familiar comfortable ride of the Pegasus Trail.
New compared to the Nike Pegasus Trail 4

The Pegasus Trail 5 introduces a fully updated midfoot containment system. With Flywire cabling that integrates the laces and a new midfoot design, both lateral and medial, this shoe ensures firm support. It also maintains the MR64, providing more room in the forefoot for a more comfortable run.
- New upper, increased durability
The upper of the shoe has been revamped with an engineered mesh, focused on providing strategic breathability in the most critical areas and reinforced at high wear points such as the big toe and midfoot, ensuring durability and comfort.
- New, more functional design
A heel strap that helps you not only to put the shoe on, but also to take them off without staining when you come back from training with wet or muddy shoes.

Nike Zegama 2: Comfort and Traction for long distances
The Nike Zegama 2 has been designed with comfort and traction for long distances. After two years of collaboration with elite athletes and extensive testing, these shoes are an ideal choice to keep your legs feeling fresh on different terrains.
The Zegama 2 incorporates a lightweight mesh upper that provides structure and support without sacrificing flexibility. Its Nike ZoomX midsole is lightweight and responsive, offering optimal energy return for long runs. In addition, the Vibram Megagrip outsole enhances traction and durability, adapting to any challenge, no matter what terrain you're running on.
What's new compared to the first version of the Nike Zegama?
- Innovations in the upper: Lightweight and more structured mesh
The new lightweight mesh upper redefines the balance between structure, containment and flexibility in the midfoot. This evolution, characterised by a single layer of durable mesh, provides a secure fit while maintaining the necessary flexibility. In addition, a special lining is incorporated into the upper to enhance breathability and drainage.
- Advanced midsole technology: Nike ZoomX
The lightweight, high-performance Nike ZoomX midsole provides trail runners with more energy-returning foam for longer distances. The highlight is its encapsulation in a thin, durable SR02 support that protects the ZoomX foam from external elements and adds cushioning and stability, with an increased amount of foam underfoot.
- Comfort and stability: Wider last
The Nike Zegama 2 is distinguished by its wide last, offering comfort and stability. The novelty lies in a wider and anatomically designed last, which adapts to the natural expansion of the feet during long distance runs.
- New outsole: Collaboration with Vibram
The collaboration between Nike and Vibram has resulted in a new Vibram Megagrip outsole, which improves traction, stability and durability to face any terrain challenge. This outsole, inspired by Nike's iconic Waffle design and featuring multi-directional lugs, significantly improves traction and stability compared to its predecessor, delivering superior performance on the mountain.
