Adidas Athletics Trainer

With an upper that shows its level of comfort, the Adidas Athletics Trainer is a shoe designed for gym, fitness and even crossfit training that thanks to its technologies allows for quick recovery after workouts, making it possible for us to exploit our capabilities to the fullest.

Upper features

The upper of these shoes is made of a flexible mesh upper that is designed to have a fabric-like feel. The construction of the shoes is made in a single layer of material, avoiding the use of seams that could produce irritation points for our feet. On the inside, a fabric lining allows for a comfortable environment and good ventilation so that the feet are always fresh.

In the heel area, a TPU reinforcement is used which improves the structure of the shoe and offers greater security to this area of the foot. This heel cup also allows the shoe to close better to the foot, preventing slippage.

For the lateral area of the Adidas Athletics Trainer, a TPU reinforcement has also been added, which consists of an overlay that comes out of the midsole to integrate with the shoe's lacing system. The purpose of this layer of material, in addition to keeping the midfoot protected in lateral movements, is also to help the shoe fit better; when the laces are pulled, this layer adjusts to the contour of the foot and allows the shoe's closure to be customized.

Inside the shoe we find a molded insole which offers a comfortable surface for our feet. Thanks to its qualities to adapt to the pressure exerted during workouts, this insole is the one that allows the feet to recover more quickly from the effort, making workouts more comfortable.

The low-profile collar is more prominent in the rear heel area to conform to the contour of the ankle and offer you greater protection during lockdown. Split tongue keeps the instep area comfortable and allows the tongue to stay in place without slipping or moving.

Cushioning

The midsole of these shoes has been crafted from EVA rubber and offers very good cushioning in different types of conditions; this makes the shoes a good choice for both running and indoor workouts, such as the gym.

Outsole

The outsole of the Adidas Athletics Trainer features small lugs that help these adapt to different types of terrain. The size of the lugs is modified according to the section of the shoe to improve traction and grip where it is needed. Some flex grooves are added to give greater freedom of movement and make these shoes an excellent choice to complement our fitness lifestyle.
