The Nike Metcon 9 are shoes with a series of changes and updates, but the same essence as ever.
Nike Metcon 9: outstanding innovations
The Nike Metcon 9, Nike's crossfit trainer, has an upper with an evolution of the mesh used in the previous version, and with the most relevant changes in the front, with a reinforced toe cap and a wider upper.
The upper of the Nike Metcon 9 also features reinforcements in the upper of the shoe that are not present in the Nike Metcon 8 which will help this area not to suffer so much wear and tear.
The lacing and eyelet system of the Nike Metcon 9 has also been slightly modified and will feature a design very similar to that of other leading crossfit trainers in the segment, such as the Reebok Nano X3.
The outsole of the Nike Metcon 9 undergoes notable changes with respect to the previous version, with a different design that does not have so much rubber, especially in the central part of the sole that is formed by the foam of the midsole, which will surely improve the lightness - but will penalize the durability of the shoe.
In the rear of the Nike Metcon 9, the main new feature will be the greater presence of protections in the heel to provide more stability, similar to the previous version but with a little more cushioning.
Obviously, the new Nike Metcon 9 will not be missing the logo of the American multinational on the outer side of the shoe, and will also be present on the tongue and back of the shoe.

- Dual Density Midsole: Offers energy return adapted to the effort thanks to its design that combines a firmer outer part with a softer inner part.
- Enhanced Protection: The rope climb zone on Metcon 9 is the largest to date, extending from the middle of the sole to the lateral half of the shoe. In addition, the toe cap has additional reinforcement.
- Wide Design: The Metcon 9 are slightly wider than previous versions.
- Rounded Laces: Unlike the previous model that had flat laces, these are rounded and have Velcro on the tongue to secure them.
- Improved Outsole: Change in the design of the outsole to avoid breakage in the front area, made from a single piece, and less flexible in the front.
- Hyperlift Incorporated: Unlike previous models where Hyperlift was an additional insole, in the model 9 this technology is totally incorporated.
- High Quality Materials: The upper has been improved to resist tearing, and the inner fabric is reinforced to provide grip and protection against wear, as in rope climbs.
