One of the most anticipated editions of sneakers for those who practice CrossFit reaches its seventh edition with an improved edition of the Reebok CrossFit Nano 7 Weave. For this new version of the Nano the firm has wanted to implement some improvements in design that have given very good reactions in users, although it had commented on its great resemblance to the Nike Metcon 3, Reebok has sought to highlight its unique features.
The upper of the shoe is made of mesh which maintains an excellent level of ventilation and allows our feet to stay cool throughout the workout. This upper uses Nano Weave technology which helps maintain a secure and comfortable fit by naturally adapting to the contours of our feet.
When we exercise, it is common for our feet to suffer from some swelling due to the demands of the movements. Nano Weave technology allows the upper to mold to these changes to prevent the shoe from feeling restrictive while we train. Finally, when we relax, the material returns to its normal characteristics so that the fit continues to feel right.
The toe area has an anatomical shape which will allow us to move more freely during all CrossFit exercises. The Reebok CrossFit Nano 7 Weave has a low-profile collar that offers a more natural feel and facilitates ankle mobility while still offering security. The heel features TPU support for a more secure fit and closure.
An Ortholite sockliner has been placed on the inside to provide a comfortable surface for the soles of the feet. To complement the upper, some synthetic thermo-seals are used to help maintain the structure of the shoe and offer greater security.
The cushioning of the shoe is provided by a layer of EVA rubber that allows a good resistance to the different types of impacts with the surface during training. With its 4-millimeter drop, the midsole is cushioned enough to keep the feet comfortable but also provides an excellent feel of the surface.
The heel area is reinforced to maintain comfort and stability during explosive weight lifting.
The rubber outsole is abrasion resistant and offers excellent traction. The pattern of the sole design is modified according to the section of the foot to follow the anatomy of the foot's movements and make the soles more flexible. The rubber on the soles also has shock-absorbing qualities, adding to the cushioning of the shoe.
Finally, a rubber design has been incorporated on the sides to provide durability and better grip when performing exercises such as side planks or rope climbing.
