Garmin vivomove

For exercise enthusiasts, activity monitors are quite useful as they can provide data on our physical performance during the day, sleep patterns and much more; the detail with these gadgets is that their modern designs are not adapted to certain situations or scenarios of our daily life, for example to take them to an important work meeting.

Aware of this situation, Garmin launches to the market the Garmin Vivomove a classic but fashionable analog watch, with dimensions of 20 x 12 x 42 mm designed to be used all day and with an elegant style that adapts to even the most formal moments.

Garmin vivomove

This watch combines a classic function design with options such as sleep monitoring and physical activity reminders for the wearer in case he/she has been inactive for a long time. Its CR2025 battery has a life of one year and the watch is waterproof to a depth of 50 meters.

It has a weight depending on the model:

  • Sport model weighing 51 grams.
  • Classic with 48 grams
  • Premium with 67 grams.

Although its weight may seem a lot in the Premium model, the watch feels quite light to wear.

Garmin Vivomove syncs with the Garmin Connect app, an online fitness community, which provides free services focused on workouts, activity planning, saving runs and sharing them with other users.

Count your steps in style

Garmin vivomove

By syncing our Garmin Vivomove watch with the mobile app, which is available for Android and iOS, we can set our daily exercise goals.

The watch makes use of a step counter to calculate the distance we have traveled during the day and the amount of calories burned, data that will be displayed in the application of our Smartphone.

On the watch we will be able to see two lines that will allow us to monitor our progress in the fitness plan we have programmed.

The line on the left shows the progress in relation to our daily goal on a scale from 0 to 100.

The line on the right is an inactivity monitor, when we have spent an hour without movement a red line will be displayed until the middle of this indicator and from this moment on if we continue without moving we will be sent alarms every 15 minutes that will only be deactivated if we walk for a few minutes.

Customize your watch

Garmin vivomove

As we have mentioned, this watch has three design styles, each with a different price as well.

The Sport model is the most economical, shows a combination of black and white colors and silicone bracelet.

The classic model has a gold-colored dial and leather strap.

The Premium edition has a gold-plated steel or stainless steel case and a leather strap.

The watch straps can also be replaced by any 20 mm strap available on the market, so the user has the possibility to customize his watch and adapt it to different styles.
