Garmin has converted its Garmin Vivosmart quantifier bracelet into a heart rate monitor. It is becoming increasingly difficult to differentiate a heart rate monitor from a bracelet of this type and is that healthy living and fashion are less and less at odds. Garmin Vivosmart HR integrates a heart rate monitor to control the heart rate directly from the wrist easily and without separate accessories.
This new version also comes loaded with new features both inside and out in its exterior design with a visible screen even in direct sunlight and an elegant strap with buckle closure that make it more functional and "wearable" in the day to day.
Garmin vivosmart HR stands out for integrating a special technology developed by the firm and that under the name of Elevate is able to measure the heart rate from the user's wrist uninterruptedly. Thus, it is always possible to train without the need to use the increasingly hated chest bands.
Through heart rate, the wristband provides information on calories burned and quantifies the intensity of sports activities. As an added benefit, it is possible to use Garmin vívosmart HR as a heart rate sensor when paired with other compatible Garmin devices.
Garmin vívosmart HR does not, however, lose its essence. It is still a complete activity tracker. Therefore it is able to measure steps, calories and distance. And as a novelty incorporates a barometric altimeter that will serve you both if you make ascents to ports by bicycle as if you climb the floors of your stairs.
It also has the "More active minutes" feature, which quantifies the intensity of each activity, whether in the pool or in a fitness class, and allows you to monitor your progress based on the activity goals recommended by various organizations and other international centers for disease control and prevention.
With Garmin vívosmart HR, there's no need to keep an eye on your smartphone, because whenever you receive a text message, email or call, the device's screen gently vibrates and automatically displays all the information.
This type of device also serves to put you on battery power. The Garmin Vivosmart HR incorporates for example a function that after an hour of inactivity makes the bracelet vibrates to remind you that it's time to move.
