The Finnish brand has just presented the second version of its Polar Loop fitness tracker, a model that in appearance keeps many similarities with respect to its predecessor but incorporating new features and features to compete with other manufacturers in this market segment.
The new Polar Loop 2fitness tracker retains all the quantifying features of the previous version such as distance measurement, number of steps taken, estimation of calories burned and the ability to set goals. Likewise, this wearable also works while you sleep, as it tracks your sleep and sleep quality.
Regarding the new features included in the new Polar Loop 2 quantifier bracelet, we can find vibration alerts for periods of inactivity longer than 55 minutes and support for smart notifications through an LED display.
Thanks to Bluetooth Smart technology, the Polar Loop 2 will communicate all incoming calls, messages and calendar events without the need to take your phone out of your pocket or bag.
On the other hand, the Finnish company has announced that this new electronic device will be compatible with a number of external applications to the company. This way you can monitor all your daily activity, not only with Polar's own application, but also with popular apps such as Google Fit, Apple Health or MyFitnessPal.
As for the autonomy of the Loop 2 smart bracelet, Polar has announced that it will reach 8 days of duration with the activity log on permanently and doing an hour of exercise every day.
Regarding the design, the second version of this smartband retains the LED light display in the upper area, silicone coating and will be marketed in three colors: black, white and pink. The Polar Loop 2 will arrive in Europe next September and its price will be around 120 euros.
