It has been more than a year since Samsung last updated its range of Galaxy Fit fitness trackers. It seems that the latest addition to the Samsung Galaxy Fit 3 range will soon see the light of day.

The Samsung Galaxy Fit 3 is an fitness tracker that, although there is no official confirmation from the brand, it seems that it will be a reality during the coming weeks, probably before the summer of this year.

What do we expect from the new Samsung Galaxy Fit 3?

Samsung launches the new bracelet with new features and improvements that, although there is still no official confirmation from the brand, may incorporate advanced features such as the ability to pay with the device or the measurement of blood oxygen level (SpO2).

One of the aspects that will not be modified too much with respect to the Samsung Galaxy Fit 2 is its comfortable, elegant and lightweight design. The new wristband is expected to weigh around 21 grams, a very similar weight to the previous version.

Payment in cell phones and even in some smartwatches, especially, the top of the range, are increasingly the norm around the world, it is now a real weakness if such a device does not have these capabilities. It was not present in the Samsung Galaxy Fit 2, but will surely be integrated in the Fit 3. In addition, Xiaomi already offers this feature in the Mi Band 6 NFC.

Other aspects and functionalities such as sleep quality measurement, heart rate measurement, calories burned, and highlights of some sports and that were incorporated in the Samsung Galaxy Fit 2 will be maintained and, even in the best case, will be updated to improve their performance.

The price is another aspect to be determined and confirmed, although it is speculated to be around 60, a starting price lower than other Samsung fitness trackers and similar to similar devices from other brands that we can find in the market such as the Amazfit Band 5 and the Xiaomi Mi Band 6
