Salewa expands its catalog of outdoor shoes while maintaining the commitment to circular and sustainable production as this model has large percentages of sustainable materials. In fact, it bears the Salewa Committed symbol and meets the additional strict criteria of sustainability and environmentally friendly production.

The Puez Mid Powertex shoes are designed to provide soft underfoot and long-lasting comfort for versatile mountain hiking use in town or on rugged trails and varied terrain.

The upper of the shoe is made from abrasion-resistant woven nylon and is reinforced with an external toe cap and protective rubber band. The sustainable laces on this model are made from a combination of alpine hemp and recycled polyester.

The shoe features the proven Salewa 3F system with Kevlar cables that ensures a firm fit at the ankle and wraparound stability in the midfoot. This is reinforced by the climbing lacing system that goes all the way to the toe.

In addition, it also incorporates a Powertex membrane that guarantees the waterproofing of our feet at all times if we go on routes in bad weather conditions or on wet ground.

The midsole features Alpine Hemp compound, made from recycled hemp fabric waste and virgin hemp and reduces the use of EVA, saving resources and offering a sustainable perspective, without compromising performance.

The shoe features a soft, recycled and customizable CFF footbed to offer enhanced comfort and a personalized fit according to one's needs.

At the heart of its structure, integrated into the insole, is the new Salewa Edging Plate II, a special thermoplastic frame that runs the entire length of the boot and offers a combination of optimized flex and rebound for long-lasting comfort on hikes with certain levels of stiffness and flex in the forefoot, and heel depending on stiffness, as well as increased stability.

The sole of the shoe features the Pomoca Alpine Trekker compound for grip and traction on a wide range of terrain, predominantly technical.

Athletes of medium to heavy weight (over 80 kilos) will be able to get the most out of the shoe 's performance, as it has a relatively high weight, weighing 470 grams.
