Adidas Adistar Raven Boost

The German firm Adidas has set its sights on the trail running segment and for this it has transferred its popular Boost technology to the shoes of this exciting sporting discipline that runs through high and irregular heights. We present the new Adidas Adistar Raven Boost, a training shoe for neutral or supinator runners, with a 10 mmdrop and 311 grams of weight for a foot size 40.

Upper

One of the main changes introduced in the Adidas Adistar Raven Boost is in the upper of the shoe, which has seen its design modified. If the predecessor model had thermosealed in the front area, now you find an upper with reinforcement in the toe and a slight curvature upwards, along with the three mythical bands of the German brand in the central part.
It incorporates a quick lacing system and stands out for its good flexibility.

Midsole

The main differentiating element of the new Adistar Raven model is the Boost material implemented in the midsole of the shoe to enhance cushioning. At first glance, it seems that the famous compound developed by the German company to promote energy return is only found in the heel area, but if you turn the shoe over and look at the outsole you can see a similar material, although with different properties in the area corresponding to the bridge and metatarsals.

Outsole

As in the previous model, the outsole is still made by the prestigious Continental tire company that offers such good results in terms of grip and durability. This time the number of lugs in the outsole has been increased, which are quite prominent, and have been arranged in a multidirectional manner.
