Adidas Energy Boost 3

The Energy Boost is the iconic model of adidas running, because it was the first shoe in which the German brand introduced its revolutionary endless energy return cushioning system, in collaboration with BASF. While the Energy Boost 2 did not entail really significant changes, now it is the turn of the latest version, the Energy Boost 3, which incorporates changes on all sides.

Obviously, and thanks to its exceptional performance, the Boost cushioning technology is not touched in the midsole. In addition, a layer of EVA is included on the edge of this part of the shoe, which favors the runner's neutral stride.

Increased stability and flexibility

However, the new features of the Energy Boost 3 come to increase its weight, but for the benefit of greater stability. In this sense, the sole incorporates more AdiWear rubber toreinforce cushioning and grip, but it is separated by the plastic piece of the well-known Torsion system in the midfoot, offeringgreater stability and flexibility, but also extending the shoe's durability.

The upper of this training shoe for neutral runners features Techfit technology, which is very flexible and provides more natural support. The upper is seamless, which allows the shoe to fit the foot like a glove.

And another detail that should not be overlooked in the Energy Boost 3 is the FitFrame structure, defined with a three-dimensional molded TPU design, not only allows for a more secure fit in the rear, but also adds more stability in the heel area.

The Energy Boost 3 's drop remains at 10 millimeters (height: 32mm in the heel, and 22mm, in the forefoot), but its weight goes from 280 grams to 310 grams in men's size 425, and to 266 grams in European size 39 for the women's version.
