The adidas Supernova GORE-TEX running shoes are intended for use in adverse conditions of cold or rain, especially. A model that in addition to the protective membrane, offers great cushioning and comfort for daily training sessions and long distance competitions where the weather is very extreme.
If there is something to highlight about these running shoes is their ability to maintain both the temperature of the feet and prevent the entry of water in training sessions under water. We are talking about a model that has a very specific use, but that can also serve as everyday footwear to face low temperatures or those days where the rain does not stop.
Ideal adidas Supernova GORE-TEX Runner
This adidas model can satisfy a wide range of runners. But what has to be clear is that it is a shoe for running in cold temperatures, less than 5 to 10 degrees celsius, or in areas where rain is a constant. Their cushioning allows runners of all weights to find them comfortable, the lighter ones as a choice for their more regenerative workouts and the medium and heavy ones as a daily training shoe.
Supernova will bring out their full potential at slow paces over medium to long distances. We are talking about paces above 5:00 min/km and lengths between half marathon and marathon, although we can use them without any problem for shorter sessions during our preparation.

The great cushioning is one of the most remarkable aspects of the adidas Supernova GORE-TEX. Of course, the BOOST foam is the culprit of all this. A compound with a very soft feel so that the foot experiences a totally comfortable and cushioned sensation. However, it responds efficiently if we demand an extra gear.
The waterproof GORE-TEX membrane keeps water out and ensures that the foot remains in the same condition as at the start of the session, dry and breathable. The synthetic lining is sufficiently protected to keep the foot intact, yet is made of a thin, lightweight material.
The rubber outsole incorporates an undulating lug pattern, which guarantees great grip and water evacuation in very wet conditions. With a 9mm drop and a weight of 337 grams, the adidas Supernova GORE-TEX are available to runners for an RRP of 120€.
