One of the adidas presentations during The Running Event was the adidas Supernova Prima, a new addition to the brand's Supernova line.
The adidas Supernova Prima is a running shoe that is already available on the market from this June 2024 and has an official starting price of 170 euros.
Main features of the new adidas Supernova Prima
adidas continues its commitment to one of the most popular lines of running shoes for a wide range of runners with the addition of this new model.
The new shoe stands out for providing greater cushioning and support than the emblematic and iconic model of the line, the adidas Supernova Rise.
The upper of this new model has been designed to provide maximum comfort and support while running with it, featuring a breathable mesh upper that fits perfectly to the shape of the foot of each runner.
It is worth highlighting the brand's commitment to sustainability and the use of recycled materials in its manufacture, as this shoe contains at least 20% recycled and renewable materials.
The midsole features Dreamstrike + technology, which ensures good cushioning and shock absorption. This new model has the Support Rods system (EVA foam rods that provide greater firmness).
The shoe features the innovative Lighttraxion outsole, developed by the brand, which offers exceptional grip without penalizing the increased weight of this model.

Technical specifications of the adidas Supernova Prima
While the men's version has a drop of 8 mm, with 38 mm and 30 mm profiles in the front, the women's version has a drop of one millimeter less (7 mm) with lower profiles of 36 mm and 29 mm in the front.
As far as weight is concerned, it is slightly below the 300 grams, weighing 290 grams in the men's version (size 42 3) and 242 grams in the women's version (size 38 3).
In short, we have a new model in the Supernova line that will bring us extra comfort and support in our daily running workouts.
