This release marks the third edition of the successful Sequence family with Boost technology and its Stableframe structure, responsible for providing control and stability. Designed for runners of medium-high weight, between 70 and 80 kilos, the adidas supernova Sequence 9 stand out for their combination of response and cushioning, as well as for their versatility. And we say versatility because it can be used both for training and competition, marathon distance included, and for paces above 4:30 minutes per kilometer.

Upper update: more elastic and breathable mesh

Compared to the previous model, the Sequence Boost 8, this new version of this high-end shoe for overpronators focuses all its changes on its upper. The brand with the three stripes has made the upper of the adidas Sequence 9 simpler, introducing different thermo-sealed elements and synthetic reinforcements to a more breathable and elastic mesh, resulting in an optimal fit.

In addition, adidas running designers have also worked on improving comfort and moisture management, developing a breathability system suitable for running in any climate.

As with other iconic adidas models, such as the Ultraboost ST (stability), the adidas Supernova Sequence 9 also uses theStrecthWeb concept in the midsole. This time, this system has been updated, being lighter and more flexible than the previous one. In this way, the model is able to offer a better adaptation to the ground, which results in a more optimized stride because it maximizes the properties of the Boost foam. In addition, the Torsion System provides a smoother transition.

The adidas Supernova Sequence 9 also continues the collaboration with the German tire manufacturer Continental, featuring the characteristic rubber outsole, although with small nuances, such as new tread pattern and components to improve performance on both dry and wet surfaces, while increasing the durability of the outsole.

The most technical characteristics of the adidas Supernova Sequence 9 show a running shoe for pronator runners with a 10 mmdrop, 324 grams of weight for the men's version (size 42.5EU) and 269 grams for the women's version (size 39EU).
