This shoe can be used on any terrain you can imagine, no matter how wet it is or how steep the slope. The shoe has two types of GTX compound, on the one hand the Surround system that will offer extra ventilation from the back of the heel to the midfoot area. And on the other hand, the Extended technology that improves the breathability of the shoe and comfort, always protecting you from water. As an extra detail, a quick lacing system has been used in this shoe to obtain a better fit in the closure of the shoe. The interior has a thick textile lining, which is accompanied by the Ortholite insole, which is best suited to keep your feet dry in unfavorable weather conditions. As it could not be otherwise, Adidas has used as main materials for these Terrex Fast GTX Surround a very resistant fabric and synthetic material.
EVA has been used in the middle of the shoe to improve the lightness of these robust models required by the trail user. On the outside, adidas Continental rubber outsole has been chosen, which provides great durability and perfect grip for any obstacle. This outsole provides unbeatable grip on rainy days. According to Adidas, this outsole considerably improves the performance of other standard outsoles used in mid-range models, offering 21% more traction in favorable dry conditions and 23% more traction on wet surfaces.
