The Adidas Terrex R2 is the new trailrunning shoe from the German company. It is characterized by being versatile, it is an all-terrain model that serves both for hiking and running in the mountains. The midsole is composed of high density Eva foam which is combined with the Adiprene midsole. This is a common component of Adidas shoes that brings lightness to the shoe. It deserves special attention to comment that this model does not have the Goretex fabric, however there is another version, the Adidas Terrex R2 GTX that does have it so it incorporates in its upper the superior waterproof system that protects the foot from the cold, wind and water.

In the sole as with many other features, shares many similarities with the Adidas Terrex AX2R, so in this part they have also added the Traxion technology that provides maximum grip in all directions and in any type of terrain both dry and wet. Thanks to this, the athlete can traverse any type of terrain while maintaining confidence in this shoe.

In terms of technical specifications, the weight of the Adidas Terrex R2 is 350grams. The truth is that it is a bit heavy for trail running, however, if we classify it as a hiking shoe, it would qualify as a lightweight model for this practice. And finally the drop is 10 mm.
