The midsole structure has not undergone significant changes compared to the Altra King MT. The Altra EGO material is still present, a compound that offers quality cushioning without increasing its density. This model continues with the drop zero trend, i.e. the thickness of the midsole is the same in the heel section as in the forefoot.

The upper of these King MT 2 fromAltra Running incorporates small modifications that seek to offer greater comfort and fit. This time, the upper includes translucent overlays, adding robustness to the shoe as a whole. Likewise, the Velcro strap present in the previous model is maintained in this latest update but its position varies. Thus, the runner will be able to enjoy a tighter and more effective fit.

The outsole has been specifically designed to offer the best possible adaptability even on the most uneven terrain. Its design incorporates Vibram Megagrip rubber, a compound that offers superior grip and traction. This new update has holes in the toe area, to promote greater water drainage in the race.
