The lightness of a racing shoe combined with the stability of a training shoe? This is the concept that Brooks Running has captured in its new Asteria model, a lightweight design with durable support, uniting the best of both worlds: training and racing.
The American brand has not yet revealed much information about this new release, but, as a preview, these are the details of the Brooks Asteria, a flying shoe option for pronator runners. That is, the model features stability control, and without giving up the ability to run fast. And know that in Runnea we have well noted this model to give full and extensive coverage of it.
In its construction, the Brooks Asteria incorporates most of the latest and most outstanding technologies of Brooks Running. It could not be otherwise. Thus, in the midsole we have resorted to the well-known BioMoGo DNA compound, with which you can enjoy that exclusive adaptive cushioning in each of your strides. In addition, the Asteria also brings with it two systems of great relevance, such as the Extended Segmented Crash Pad -present in the latest versions of the Adrenaline GTS, Cascadia or Ghost sagas- and the Rearfoot Guide Rail System, which are intended to improve the transition along the entire shoe with a feeling of greater smoothness and stability.
In the outsole, Brooks Running 's characteristic Blown Rubber compound shares the limelight with Forefoot Propulsion technology, designed to improve the forefoot propulsion phase.
Of course, the upper of the Brooks Asteria also gets the attention, and the 3D Fit Print technology, which we have already seen in models such as the Glycerin 13, Launch 3 and PureFlow 5, once again becomes the main actor, capable ofguaranteeing an exceptional adaptation to the foot, fitting like a glove.
With all this, the Brooks Asteria are designed to improve your personal bests, and to this end, they have a drop of 8 millimeters and just about 190 grams in weight. It is an ideal model for rather light runners, who need some stability control both in competition and in short and/or medium distance training.
