One of the most important Brooks models in terms of trail running is back. The new Brooks Caldera 4 land on the market to continue offering the greatest stability and power to mountain lovers. With an extensive redesign of some of the most important features of the American company's line, the Caldera 4 is one of the great trail launches of the season.

Brooks Caldera 4, the evolution of a reference point

The American firm Brooks is back with the new trail running shoes Caldera 4 The new model appears as one of the strongest bets of the season as far as mountain races are concerned. Lovers of this iconic Brooks line will be able to anticipate some substantial changes that make this redesign a more attractive and dynamic model and recognize some points of similarity with its predecessors.

One of the most substantial changes in the new Brooks redesign with respect to the Caldera 3 is its midsole. Although it includes a 4-millimeterdrop as in its aforementioned predecessors, this time the overall thickness has increased. Incorporating 3 millimeters more foam, the midsole rises to 32 millimeters in the heel area and 28 millimeters in the toe area. This increase favors a more comfortable and smoother ride while reducing the aggressiveness of impacts even on the most technical terrain.

Another of the most outstanding features of these trail running shoes from Brooks can be found in the outsole. With a total redesign of its drawing, the sole of these Caldera 4 goes from having a hexagonal trackeado to implement multidirectional lugs to improve traction and grip of the whole in all types of terrain. In addition, its composition in two materials, together with the groove in the medial area, provides a greater sense of flexibility in each step, improving energy return.

This reissue, with a design oriented to the trail line of the North American company and with an aesthetic similar to that of the Divide line, also increases its stability thanks to the weight gain. From the 263 grams of the Caldera 3 in its men's model it goes to 328 grams and from the 240 grams that its predecessor weighed in the women's model it goes to 292 grams. An increase with the clear purpose of offering runners a consistent trail shoe, with maximum stability even on the steepest terrain and perfect response.
