We advance events, and everything points to the fact that the fifteenth release of the famous Brooks Running Glycerin will follow the same line of continuity already seen in its predecessor, the Brooks Glycerin 14, which in itself did not represent a total revolution over previous editions, but it did show a more careful and updated aesthetics. The reason was that the Brooks Glycerin 14 became the official model of the thirty-sixth edition of the Trinidad Alfonso Valencia Marathon, no more and no less.
Does that mean that the Brooks Glycerin 15 won't have any noticeable changes? Probably few, but, of course, as in each new edition of this top cushioning running shoe for neutral runners, the North American company will continue to introduce small changes to improve the runner's experience.
Since what works well is best left untouched, the Brooks Glycerin 15 will continue to rely on the exclusive SuperDNA material in the midsole for all its cushioning capacity, offering an adaptive and dynamic cushioning system that will provide a more comfortable and fluid transition.
However, in an attempt to provide a more dynamic transition, the fifteenth version of the Glycerin 15 includes changes to its Segmented Crash Pad, which is somewhat different from the Glycerin 14, and will feature a more updated design with more vertical lines.
In the upper of the Brooks Glycerin 15 everything will remain more or less the same, or without much new to highlight, except that Brooks Running will focus on renewing its 3D Strectch Print Seamless technology, and thus improve the breathability and comfort of the model.
It also seems that the Brooks Glycerin 15 will bring changes in its restructured outsole, as it will have a different pattern than the previous version. The compounds of greater resistance will be located in the heel area to increase the lifespan in that area of greater wear, while the flexion lines, well marked, are presented in the forefoot with those particular grooves, whose mission is none other than to offer more softness and flexibility in each step.
While waiting to learn more about the new features of the Brooks Glycerin 15, what is certain is that this running shoe will continue to be the preferred and reference model for a large group of neutral runners, whose priority is to wear a shoe that offers maximum cushioning and comfort in training and/or competitions, especially over long distances, because the main hallmark of the Brooks Running Glycerin saga is to be the runner's faithful ally for adding many kilometers.
