The new Brooks PureCadence 7 does not represent a revolution compared to its predecessor model, but rather a new update, whose improvements are concentrated in the upper of this running shoe, which includes a new sock-like fit.
Otherwise, and in general, the seventh version of the PureCadence continues to maintain the premise of offering a natural feel in the footprint, while offering that extra stability for mild pronators.
In the midsole of the PureCadence 7, the designers of Brooks Running have clearly bet on preserving the BioMoGo DNA adaptive cushioning system, with which this model, as in previous versions, guarantees softer landings when running at calm paces, while gaining in greater reactivity as the pace accelerates.
On the other hand, the exclusive Guide Rails system, the North American brand's trademark support system, has been updated, being somewhat lighter, which favors a more natural alignment of the joints, thus minimizing the effects of impacts on each landing.
As we have already mentioned, the weight modifications in the Brooks PureCadence 7 are located in the upper. Here, and in this part of the shoe, the designers of the Seattle-based company have created a new structure, Air Woven, which include an internal bootie to improve both fit and support, and thus provide greater total freedom of movement. In addition, the seamless overlays also contribute to the shoe's comfort and softness.
The outsole of the Brooks PureCadance 7 features a flexible design that is intended to disperse impact along its entire length, and also to provide that cushioned underfoot feel.
