The Brooks Pure Grit 2 is one of the trail shoes that the American brand considers "minimalist or natural tread" despite not being a pure minimalist shoe as it has cushioning throughout the sole. Its best virtue is the fit. Very light and breathable shoes. It allows without forcing to find a metatarsal tread. Sufficient sole for technical terrain and loose stones. Developed by trail runner Jurek Scott, Brooks has worked on an inward-curved sole. It widens under pressure to provide a balanced ride. The slip-resistant sole structure protects the foot and yet allows the PureGrit runner to stay in contact with the surface. In addition, the ultra-lightweight grid provides a superb fit. They incorporate Brooks BioMoGo DNA technology that adapts the cushioning of the footprint to the biomechanics of each runner according to weight and speed. They lose some traction in soft or muddy terrain.
