Diadora expands its catalog of running shoes with the new Diadora Equipe Corsa 2, a shoe designed to be used by the fastest runners in their training and even competitions.
The Diadora Equipe Corsa 2 is a running shoe that is a tribute to the brand's first running shoe from the 1970s, but with an innovative and modernized design.
Diadora continues its commitment to the running segment with fast shoes such as this new model, which also incorporates some of the latest technologies developed by the brand.
The upper is made of semi-transparent nylon air mesh and PU microfiber to provide great breathability and lightness in our competitions. Being a fast shoe we will not find large padding or protections.
The midsole has a combination that will delight the fastest runners, as it combines DD Anima technology and spring pebax cambrillón that guarantees propulsion and reactivity in each of our strides.
The shoe has a sole differentiated in two parts, incorporating Soplar Flexoft technology in the front area to provide the necessary reactivity to run fast and the special Duratech 5000 wear-resistant compound in the heel area to ensure good durability of the shoe.
It is a shoe that is not designed to be used by everyone. Runners with a neutral stride technique, light weight and good running technique will be the ideal profile to enjoy the Diadora Equipe Corsa 2 to the fullest.
In terms of distances, the shoe responds perfectly in short and medium distances. More experienced runners with good technique will be able to use it beyond the half marathon, but where it performs best is in shorter distances.
This is one of the lightest shoes in the Diadora catalog, weighing only 210 grams in the men's version (size 42 EU).
The drop, for a fast shoe, is high, as other similar shoes on the market have drops of less than 10 mm, which is the drop of the Diadora Equipe Corsa 2.
In short, this is a shoe that is not designed for everyone and in which the fastest runners will be able to take full advantage thanks to all the technologies it incorporates.
