The outsoles use Vibram Megagrip Compound material, which provides excellent grip on wet or dry terrain. The outsole is designed in two depths, with a softer material and less aggressive lugs all the way around the outsole ideal for dry terrain, while the center part of the outsole is a bit deeper and features more aggressive trident-shaped lugs, which offer great performance on greasy or wet surfaces.
