The new Dynafit Traverse GTX is already available, a shoe that maintains the multifunctionality and versatility of its sister shoe but adds more protection and waterproofing thanks to the waterproof Gore-Tex membrane it incorporates and that guarantees our feet will stay dry in rainy conditions and/or mud.
The Dynafit Traverse GTX is a trail running shoe that we can also use for other outdoors multisport activities, it would be halfway between a trail running shoe and a hiking shoe.
Dynafit's new trail running shoe is the ideal companion for our mountain adventures, featuring the lightness and versatility of a trail running shoe, but with the protection, comfort and grip of a mountain shoe, making it an ideal shoe for our outdoors multisport adventures.
The upper of the shoe is exactly the same as the Dynafit Traverse, featuring dual upper material construction, the seamless tongue that provides strategically placed cushioning to avoid pressure points and provide a little extra comfort on fast, steep ascents and descents, and the effective Quick Lacing system that allows for a quick and easy custom fit.
This version of the shoe adds the waterproof Gore-Tex membrane to keep our feet dry even when running in wet or muddy terrain. This version is especially designed for those areas or regions where rainfall is more frequent and mud is more present during long periods of the year.
The midsole has an integrated torsion system that absorbs the forces and the impact with the surface to provide a more stable tread. This guarantees a secure footing on technical terrain, even in wet conditions with this version, even if you are going at full speed.
The outsole contains Pomoca Gliding Path technology that provides support for the natural rotational movement of the foot (S-curved). This is a special S-shaped lug structure, the contact patch, which allows the outsole to glide smoothly and reduces deformation energy. Although this is a version prepared for running in rain or mud, the design and the prominence of the lugs, 5 mm deep, are the same as in the Dynafit Traverse.
Athletes who don't mind running or hiking in the mountains in rain and bad weather wll get the most out of the new Dynafit Traverse GTX because they will have unlimited versatility and the protection and waterproofing of the Gore-Tex membrane.
Athletes of medium weight and even high weight are ideal for this shoe that, due to its membrane, has a significantly higher weight than its sister shoe. However, with the same outsole the paces could be the same, depending on the weather conditions and the state of the terrain.
In this section we must emphasise that the drop of the shoe is the same as that of its sister shoe, specifically 8 mm. However, this model weighs significantly more, the men's version has a weight of 340 grams and the women's version of 300 grams.
