The new Helly Hansen Gobi 2 is a trail running shoe that stands out mainly for its good cushioning and protection for running on trails and mountain trails, preferably with few technical difficulties.

The versatility is another of the highlights of the Helly Hansen Gobi 2, a trail running shoe that we can use in our trekking excursions in mountain terrain with few technical difficulties and even in the city for our daily routines.

Main characteristics of the Helly Hansen Gobi 2

Helly Hansen is known by many mountain enthusiasts for its incredible textile products but, little by little, is also increasing its catalog of shoes for mountain activities, as in the case of this new shoe.

The upper of the Helly Hansen Gobi 2 is made of 70% recycled polyester, a commitment of the brand to sustainability in which it is one of the pioneers and in which it has been promoting for several seasons.

In addition, the laces, the polyester webbing, the reinforcements of the shoe's collar and the inner lining are made from 100% recycled materials.

The Helly Hansen Gobi 2 contains some of the most outstanding technologies developed by the brand itself, some of which are also present in another new model such as the Helly Hansen Featherswift TR.

In the upper part of the shoe, the Quick Dry technology contains materials with hydrophobic treatment (textiles, synthetics, linings, etc.). This is an invisible layer that helps expel and dissipate water and moisture.

In addition, Vent technology has also been used, resulting in ventilated and breathable fabrics with a surface designed to allow air to circulate in and around the foot, maintaining a temperate climate while protecting against the elements.

Lite-Frame technology has been implemented in the medial side of the shoe, which is a lightweight, seamless layer that adds stability without adding weight to the shoe. It is used mainly in the central area to reinforce the upper and protect and stabilize the foot.

In the areas of greatest exposure to external elements, such as the forefoot and heel area, ProGuard technology has been used, which consists of a layer of protective, resistant, high-abrasion material to increase the protection and safety of runners.

Cushioning in the Helly Hansen Gobi 2 is provided by PowerStride technology, an EVA foam technology used in the brand's performance shoes in order to enhance performance, and offer the optimal balance between cushioning, (light) weight, rebound, durability and comfort.

The sole of the shoe uses MaxGrip technology, a rubber compound that offers great grip on multiple surfaces and in a wide variety of conditions, and Tough Wear technology to provide great durability, which is necessary in this type of versatile shoes.

In summary, we are facing a shoe that stands out for its versatility, because we can use it in our activities and also in our daily routines and has outstanding materials and technologies of the Norwegian company.
