HOKA Clifton 9 Gore-Tex

The waterproof version of one of the most popular models for all runners, the HOKA Clifton 9 Gore-Tex, is now available.

The HOKA Clifton 9 Gore-Tex is a trail running shoe with the same features as its sister shoe, but with the addition of the membrane, you can become fully unstoppable, whatever the weather.

HOKA adapts one of its most widely-acclaimed models for running during the rainiest times of the year, meaning rain and mud are no obstacle when it comes to running.

The upper of the shoe incorporates the Gore-Tex Invisible Fit membrane, made of 70% recycled polyester fabric, which offers lighter and more breathable waterproof ventilation. This is the main new feature with respect to the HOKA Clifton 9.

The HOKA Clifton 9 Gore-Tex has a high percentage of recycled material, maintaining the quality of the materials and the technologies it incorporates.

Some examples of the brand's commitment to sustainability can be found in the upper mesh which is 30% recycled. The upper mesh of the tongue is made entirely of recycled polyester, and the laces are 70% recycled nylon and 30% recycled polyester.

It is also worth mentioning the presence of reflective motifs all around the shoe, to improve our security and visibility, even at night.

The cushioning is exactly the same as the classic version, so we are assured of great comfort during our daily workouts, while maintaining strong reactivity when we want to increase speed.

The outsole of the shoe is made of Durabrasion Rubber, which provides improved traction on slippery surfaces due to rain or mud.

Ideal profile: HOKA Clifton 9 Gore-Tex

The profile of runners to whom this shoe is addressed is very broad. It's a very comfortable model with great cushioning for our daily workouts.

Runners of medium or high weights, with a neutral stride, and those who prioritise comfort over speed (and who aren't put off by a bit of rain and mud!) will appreciate this shoe.

HOKA Clifton 9 Gore-Tex: Technical Specifications

In this section, we highlight the weight of the shoe: 273 grams, a fairly balanced weight considering that Gore-Tex membrane.

As for the drop, it's the same 5mm as the HOKA Clifton 9.
