If there is one thing that makes these pioneering Running shoes from the French company Hoka One One stand out, it is their 5 drop and a weight of only 215 grams, giving this Clifton model two characteristics that are, a priori, opposites in a shoe: great cushioning and amazing lightness.

Ultralight and Extra Soft

In principle, it is designed for neutral runners looking for good protection for their feet without sacrificing the comfort of an ultralight and soft shoe, thanks to the large volume of spongy CMEVA fabric integrated in the midsole.

Hoka has placed special emphasis on making this shoe unusually soft, improving shock absorption and thus considerably reducing the feeling of fatigue during the run.

This Hoka One Clifton model also incorporates the 'Meta Rocker' system, which together with its high drop, contributes to a more efficient and fluid stride, making the run more comfortable at all times and the transition in the initial part of the foot occurs at a higher speed.

Wide and stable sole

Any runner, regardless of weight and age, can wear these trail running shoes, especially recommended for daily training and road races.

Although the Hoka One One Clifton are characterized by having a wider sole than normal, which contributes greatly to achieving greater stability, there may be some exceptions such as runners whose feet are narrow, in which case it is advisable to opt for another model that is better suited to their needs.

In other cases, a shoe model with a lower drop and closer to the ground may be a good solution.
