The new Hoka One One Constant is a model recently launched by the French firm that aims to combine maximum stability and maximum cushioning in a running shoe. It is a model designed for men with a pronator footprint. It has a 4 mm drop, weighs 294 grams and is focused on training.
The midsole of this Hoka One One Constant shoe incorporates EVA foam to provide greater comfort during your workouts carried out on asphalt, while the rest of the midsole is strategically filled with RMAT compound, which is actually another kind of foam with greater durability than the EVA compound, which is included throughout the entire shoe.
Most of the outsole is covered with a rubber material that the French firm has strategically placed to provide support for over-pronation. The rubber material is thick, hard and quite durable.
The upper of the shoe is made of good quality materials, resistant to the passage of kilometers, resulting quite soft and comfortable. As for the tongue, it is designed in such a way that it adapts to your foot like a sock. The forefoot area is wide enough for the toes, which is to be appreciated.
Regarding the breathability of this Hoka One One Constant is not as good as we would like, since the material used is somewhat thick and penalizes ventilation. The positive side is that in low temperatures, your feet will stay warm.
