The outsoles of the Hoka One One Vanquish 3 are a continuation of the previous edition. The "full contact" design offers improved traction while maintaining surface feel. This type of outsole also helps improve runners' experience during the run and achieve a smoother transition from heel to toe.

A high abrasion resistant rubber is strategically placed in some areas of the outsole to provide increased durability in areas that are more prone to wear and tear, without adding additional weight to the overall construction.

Fit of the Hoka One One Vanquish 3

Regarding the fit of these shoes, the heel and midfoot area have standard measurements, while the forefoot section is a bit narrower, so this shoe is ideal for those with slightly narrower feet, as the toe section might feel too tight on those with wide feet, in which case the option will be to go up half a size.

These shoes offer good support for neutral or mildly pronated runners who don't need more arch support. The cushioning offers good response in medium paced runs, so they are suitable for training and for long distance competitions where we need to keep our feet comfortable.
