The first great particularity of the Inov 8 Oroc 340 model is that it has entered the market with a strong footprint. This specific trail running shoe has received several awards before its release to the public.
Although it is a shoe that has great flexibility, marked by the minimalist concept of the British brand, this does not prevent the Oroc 340 from presenting an aggressive design. Thus, its most outstanding features are to be found in three important sections: formidable breathability, great traction and reduced weight of over 340 grams.
As in most Inov 8 models, the sole is the differentiating element and the UK manufacturer's trademark. In the Oroc 340 there is a combination of tungsten carbide metal studs - as in its predecessor the Oroc 280 and a Dual-C and Ice-Tec rubber rubber. This innovative technology provides the runner with maximum grip on terrain such as mud, snow and ice. In addition, the DWV coating repels both water and mud.
The bottom of the shoe also features a set of protective bands that ensure an optimal fit and increase the shoe's resistance and durability.
By providing good stride control, the Inov 8 Oroc 340 is indicated for competitions and mountain races with large and demanding slopes. It is not a good option for very heavy runners for long distance or ultra-distance races.
And finally, we must add that the Oroc 340 has a version with GORE-TEX fabric (Inov 8 Oroc 340 GTX), whose performance is focused on a comfortable fit and protection at all times and on any surface you throw at it.
