Inov-8 Road X-Treme 250

We bring you the Inov-8 Road X-Treme 250, an asphalt shoe made for runners and triathletes who want to run fast but without neglecting a good cushioning without being excessive and great response. It is a model that has become very popular among middle and long distance triathletes as it also has an aggressive design, is very well ventilated and offers some support despite being a neutral shoe.

Inov-8 Road X-Treme 250 Midsole

It has a 6 mm drop so use it if you have a good running technique or as a stepping stone to natural running shoes with lower drop.

The midsole is formed by a series of flexible waves that together with its close to the ground feel leads you to have a more efficient stride, greater stability and more responsive. It is composed of injected EVA foam that provides efficient and responsive cushioning.

Inov-8 Road X-Treme 250 Outsole

If you look at the outsole it has some similarity with the Under Armour Speedform Apollo Vent. There is hardly any tread so it seems to be exposed to the abrasiveness of the asphalt, but the outsole is made of synthetic rubber with a good grip.

Where you will notice the best sensations is at toe-off. Thanks to a system of pointed lugs that grip the asphalt for a more efficient movement at take-off.

The Meta-Flex system, a groove located in the forefoot to promote natural forefoot flexion during toe-off, is used to provide a more efficient push-off.
