The British company founded just over a decade ago brings us this Trailroc model weighing 245 grams aimed at runners with neutral footstep and designed to run medium distances. It is a very versatile shoe that performs well on any type of trail terrain, but excels when the surface becomes rocky and rocky.

Halfway between its twin sisters -TrailrocTrailroc 255 and 235- this model has a clearly minimalist cut with a very low profile and a drop of only 3 millimeters that will surely meet the expectations of barefoot fans.

Regarding the midsole it has a certain amount of EVA foam providing extra comfort. In addition, thanks to the Meta-Shank technology that incorporates in the front part you will be well protected against possible boulders and rocks that you can find along the route.

The upper is made of a fairly flexible synthetic mesh but lacks protection. This Inov-8 Trailroc 245 is a lightweight and flexible model that is quite comfortable once in the shoe thanks to the fact that it is seamless.

In terms of waterproofing and breathability we can not say that it protects us too much against puddles and days with heavy rain. However, the integrated mesh will greatly facilitate drying.

If there is one thing they know about in the UK, it is steep terrain and slippery terrain with mud and loose stones. The British firm once again delivers in this aspect by mounting a tricolor Trailroc sole with 4.5 mm deep lugs that provide great traction and durability. Each color includes different components, all of them offering good grip and protection.

In summary, we could highlight that this Trailroc 245 is a flying shoe, quite flexible and with a sole with excellent performance. As weak points, we find its upper without protection and little or no cushioning.
