In fact, these new Hispalis repeat materials and technologies in their midsole and outsole. The novelties come from the upper with an update included, and a new reinforcement in the heel and the central part of the model, whose mission is that the Hispalis XVIII can be used for more kilometers.
Despite the few changes, and its conservative lines, the Joma Hispalis XVIII continues to present itself as a reliable model in terms of performance, and with a very affordable price for heavy runners and neutral tread. They have a drop of 11 millimeters, and have also slightly reduced their weight to 310 grams, making the model suitable for regular training sessions, even competitions, and for practically any kind of distance.
Its characteristic Pulsor system - that piece of gel that absorbs impact, promotes momentum and increases joint protection - ensures good cushioning, combined with the EVA+ midsole. Thanks to the Stabilis technology, the Joma Hispalis are also suitable for mildoverpronators, as they ensure a certain stability.
In addition, Flexo flex lines in the outsole improve the transition from the heel to the toe of the shoe, which translates into a more natural running experience. Durability rubber works to extend the life of the shoe.
As we said, the new redesign of the upper of the Joma Hispalis XVIII has allowed us to reduce a few grams of weight in the shoe. Its upper has the Glove Fit system, designed to improve the fit of the model, and that it fits like a glove on the foot.
