Joma Sport does not stop innovating and continues to add new updates to their most emblematic models for running, including improvements; but also bring to light new shoes to expand their extensive and varied product catalog. So much so that in its particular list of trail running shoes there is a new member: the Joma Kubor. Designed to adapt to both training and competition.

Despite their weight, which exceeds the barrier of 300 grams, these new Joma Kubor trail running shoes can show on their business card the label of being a mixed shoe. Suitable for training and racing, but, as long as the goal you have in mind is to become a race finisher. It is not a fast shoe to try to steal seconds from the clock -although it does not lack a certain dynamism-, but it does offer enough guarantees to finish the competition with the best sensations. That is why the design of the Joma Kubor is designed to run with the safety and confidence you need in mountain terrain.

All the strong points and most relevant of the Joma Kubor

Joma's new bet for all trail running enthusiasts is a robust, consistent and durable model. The Joma Kubor features a well-cushioned and comfortable midsole, a protective upper and an outsole optimized to ensure good grip on different types of terrain.

In this case, the midsole construction of this new Joma Kubor includes the exclusive Phylon Reactive foam, whose mission is focused on providing the degree of cushioning and comfort needed to adapt to the mountain, but also contributes to move dynamically without being a super running shoe.

This Joma trail model also comes with an EVA insole, which is pre-molded to provide a better fit to the last of the foot. It also serves to increase the degree of comfort.

For its part, the upper of these Joma Kubor is made of nylon, but it is combined with TPU inserts and the exclusive Sportech technology of the Spanish brand to add more protection to the foot. A section that is also reinforced by the external thermo-sealing.

This model has a PU element in the heel area as reinforcement. While the forefoot also incorporates high-strength synthetic reinforcements to improve the level of protection.

Since we are talking about protection, these Joma Kubor also include reflective serigraphy elements to increase safety when visibility conditions are poor.

On the other hand, a detail of interest in these Joma Kubor is that its tongue is sewn to the midsole on the inside, which reinforces not only the fit and comfort but also the protection against external elements.

User profile of the new Joma Kubor for trail running

As is the case with the vast majority of Joma Sport models, the outsole of these Kubor mounts an outsole with a durable Durability rubber compound. Although, it is true that the tread pattern is different from the road running shoes to increase the degree of grip and traction in all conditions.

In the technical specifications section, these Joma Kubor have a standard 10-millimeter drop and an approximate weight of 333 grams in the men's version of this model.

Finally, it is also interesting to note that these Joma Kubor are aimed towards neutral runners, although they also offer a point of stability for mild pronators, or for those neutral runners who tend to pronate inwards with the passage of kilometers. They are ideal for athletes of medium and strong constitution; and for running at paces between 4:30 to 5:00 min/km, or higher.
