The Joma Sima 2023 is a model that, currently, we can only find in the men's version and it is one of the fastest and lightest trail running shoes of the brand.
The Joma Sima 2023 is a trail running shoe that incorporates some of the most outstanding technologies of the brand and that we detail below.
Joma has designed this new model of trail running shoe that is intended for all those runners of light weight, even medium with a neutral or supinator tread technique, with which they will be able to run fast in the mountains, of course, as long as they are on terrain or trails with little technical difficulty.
The upper of the Joma Sima 2023 is made of a breathable and resistant Jacquard mesh with perforations that promote ventilation, made with the VTS system, which allows air to enter and exit. It incorporates synthetic inserts of the JOMA SPORTECH system to protect the foot in the toe and sides and give the shoe stability without adding weight.
In addition, these shoes provide lasting comfort due to the fit provided by the 100% elastic tongue and elastane linings. They feature LACE POCKET elastic to store the laces during our workouts or races in the mountains.
The midsole of the shoe is composed of a single piece of phylon FOAM REACTIVE that provides excellent cushioning, very necessary in mountain terrain and in fast paces, for which these shoes are intended.
In addition, it incorporates the BALANCE SYSTEM, developed by the brand itself and consisting of a rigid plate between the midsole and the sole of the front part, which prevents torsion and stabilizes the tread on uneven terrain.
The sole of the Joma Sima 2023 is made of DURABILITY rubber with different tread patterns to ensure stability and grip on rough terrain.

In this section we have to highlight the drop of the shoe, a drop that stands at 8 mm, a very common drop in trail running shoes but perhaps a little high as it is a lightweight shoe and intended for the fastest.
In terms of distances, we find ourselves with a shoe with which we can run at fast paces up to middle distance without any problem, the half marathon would be its ideal distance, of course, provided that it is on terrain or forest trails without great technical difficulties.
